I pity those who live their life without any thought,belief, values and motive..They keep chasing things which can make them look and sound cool..they chase money, they chase attention..Rarely do they understand that they can never be "cool" for everyone, they are cool among one group of people, uncool among the other.. It is always better to follow your heart than trying to adjust yourself to the society's norms..because they are going to hate you anyways..if you're good, they'll be jealous..if you're not, they'll see down upon you.Try to earn respect, not attention. Wearing the most fashionable clothes and talking in the most "cool" way won't make you a good human being. You will get attention of similar people. You'll attract more attention seekers. But, they will stop giving you attention as soon as you become "uncool" for them. It's your grey matter that truly matters. Your knowledge and talent is going to take you a long way, not the attention of some vain attention seekers. I smile at those who say "How can you read books in your free time?"or "why don't you chill?Why do you read and write such heavy stuff?" . I seriously pity them. When I asked a classmate of mine to develop a hobby, she answered "yar tujhe hobby bana kar kaunsi naukri mil gayi?" . Is there nothing beyond a "naukri"? Everybody has talents, why don't spend your time constructively?She says "I get bored at home all day". All of you have passed your CBSE exams..why don't teach your siblings?
They laugh at me for writing such articles. "Yaar ,why don't you chill" .. is what I get to hear. "Dude, if you have a life, stand for something" is what I say. It's such a pity that people while away their life by just "going with the flow". You shape your life, each and every moment of it. . If you love dancing, dance..if you love painting, paint. If you love classical dancing, do that. Don't be embarrassed of some stupid group of people who have nothing better to do. You won't get their attention, but you'll earn respect from some people whose opinion truly matters. I have always had respect for artists. They deserve respect. People know them because of their talent. They earn it.. That's what I try to do. Read, gain knowledge, write, learn. That's what everyone should do. Learn, love what you do. Doing a 9 to 5 job and posting "cool" statuses is not a life. It's called not using what talents you possess. And they tell me to "get a life"?
