How does starting up actually feel like?

There have been several renditions of how it feels like to startup. There are the glamorous ones in TV shows and there are somewhat near to reality ones as well. Some people come to me and say "You were lucky" or "So and so was lucky, thus they got there". I feel so offended that I want to kick that person in the ....
Starting up feels like getting over a breakup from a bad partner. You had a bad partner (your job) from which you wanted to separate from a long time but weren't being able to because of the comfort zone, the attachment, the habits, the lifestyle and the social status. But inside you know that the relationship is toxic for you and you MUST set yourself free so that you can go out and explore something better for yourself, something you deserve.
You start out by losing all you had in order to achieve something that's 1000x better than what you had (And you thought it was all you had?). You walk on the path, very bravely sometimes you fumble, most of the times you just lose heart and feel like saying I quit. I want to go back into the toxic relationship, I can't live without it!!
What do you want to go back to? To a toxic and addictive life? Or do you want to explore new grounds, be brave, work harder to achieve complete freedom and a life that you deserve?
It is a tough choice, and sticking to it day after day is very tough. But if you last for few months (5-6 to be precise), you will sail through it. But you don't go back to your old life, do not think it was better because it was easier.
And once you are neck deep in the water, you get used to living on the edge. You get used to the feeling of not knowing what will happen next. You learn managing time, people, money, friends, family. You start sailing on the rough waves. Every day is a challenge.
My friends ask me " Starting mein to bahot rejections face kie honge na?"
I reply "Still 10 times a day! But I have gotten used to it" .
This is our way of life. Sailing on a rough sea, not knowing what tomorrow will bring.
Whenever a startup guy feels dejected, he only thinks of one thing : Great things happen only outside of your comfort zone!

Love n hate..

It is easy to hate and it is difficult to love. All good things are difficult to achieve; and bad things are very easy to get.”
